Join this 8-day enchanting safari adventure where you will experience the natural wonder of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe as well as the famous Chobe National Park, the Elephants Sands and the beautiful Okavango Delta in Botswana. Besides having a chance to go on game drives in search of the African Big Five, you will witness the amazing Victoria Falls that will definitely take your breath away.
DAY 1 (AIRPORT TO VICTORIA FALLS BAYETE GUEST LODGE)
Upon arrival, you will be met by Moonlight Tours Expedition representative and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of your day is at your leisure. Dinner at the hotel. Accommodation at Bayete Guest Lodge or similar (2 nights). The hotel is close to all places that you might want to see like the town and banks etc.
DAY 2 (VICTORIA FALLS)
After breakfast, embark on a tour of Victoria Falls, one of seven natural wonders of the world. This walking safari takes you through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the Devil’s Cataracts, Livingstone's statue, and a wide variety of birds and plants. This afternoon, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
DAY 3 (VICTORIA FALLS TO CHOBE NATIONAL PARK)
Transfer by road to Chobe National Park located 100 kilometers west of Victoria Falls, home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. Accommodation is the Moorish-styled Chobe Safari Lodge or Waterlily Lodge (2 nights). Game drive and boat cruise are included. The rest of the day is at leisure.
DAY 4 (CHOBE NATIONAL PARK)
You will have an early morning game drive in the Chobe National Park. Tea and coffee are served before the game drive or during the game drive. After game drive at around 09:30 to 10:00, you will have your full breakfast. It is the best time to see the big cats like lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
Late in the afternoon, you will embark on sunset cruise in the Chobe River cruising in the Chobe National Park. The trip usually starts at 15:00. It’s one of the best experiences to watch the game from the boat and you will get closer to the animals.
DAY 5 (CHOBE NATIONAL PARK TO ELEPHANT SANDS)
Elephant Sands is a bush lodge and campsite in the northeastern part of Botswana and its 250 kilometers from Chobe or Kasane. You will enjoy viewing the elephants at a natural waterhole right in front of the lodge. Watch these impressive creatures whilst they drink at only a couple of meters away from you, it’s a unique experience! You will stay here for 1 night.
DAY 6: (ELEPHANT SANDS TO OKAVANGO DELTA)
Transfer by road through Nata to the heart of the Okavango Delta (Maun), a unique wetland system of rivers, crystal clear channels, islands, and lagoons that creates a safe haven for innumerable bird and wildlife species. You will spend 1 night at Sedia Hotel before experiencing the Okavango Delta the next day. Lunch will be at Planet Baobab and dinner will be at the hotel.
DAY 7 (OKAVANGO DELTA, MAUN)
On this day soon after breakfast, you will start your Okavango Delta day trip experience. You will explore the Okavango Delta by mokoro, a traditional dug-out canoe, by boat or by foot on wilderness game walks on nearby islands – or go fishing for pike, bream, or tiger-fish. It’s a one-day trip in the delta with professional guides and it’s fully inclusive of all meals.
DAY 8 (SEDIA HOTEL TO MAUN AIRPORT (MUB))
This is the day you will say goodbye to each other. You will pack your bags and later on have breakfast and wait for the departure time of the transfer. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport. Contact details are shared as well. The trip ends.
